Your business path

Roughly 80 countries hold E-2 treaties with the United States. If you hold more than one citizenship, only one needs to be on the list.

A few treaties carry special conditions (for example, U.K. nationals must also reside in British territory, and the Bolivia and Ecuador treaties are closed to new investments). If your country isn't listed or you're unsure, choose "I'm not sure" — we verify every file.

Bank records, sale of assets, business income, or gifts with a paper trail.

The E-1 treaty list is shorter than the E-2 list. If you hold more than one citizenship, only one needs to qualify.

Trade includes goods and services — sales, consulting, technology, transport, insurance, and more.

For an L-1 or EB-1C, the case turns on your role and seniority — so we need to see your record, not just the company's.

Answer every question shown — and on the transfer path, attach a résumé or LinkedIn URL.

02 · Your case

Your record, in your words.

Our team weighs the full picture and determines which path fits your record — O-1, EB-1A, or the EB-2 National Interest Waiver.

Check everything that applies — and be generous with yourself.

If some of these don't neatly fit your occupation, check the closest matches — comparable evidence can count, and our team assesses the full picture.

National importance covers areas such as STEM and AI, critical and emerging technology, healthcare, energy, national security, infrastructure — and work with significant economic impact, including creating jobs in the U.S.

Select your degree, years of experience, your plan in the U.S., and the national-importance answer.
